Marea Valamar Collection Suites

Lovely hotel, perfect for families. It's the first holiday in a long time where we had time together as a family but also the kids were free to do their own thing, the place and the setup is excellent. Everything was great and the staff was even better, super friendly, the reception, bar and restaurant staff. And special thanks to the kids entertainment team, they were ace. The kids absolutely loved Aida, she's a rockstar. We're already planning our next visit.

We stayed a week in this hotel in August and I can highly recommend it. What I loved about this place is that pay so much attention to the little details. Extra nappies and wipes in the public toilets, water nappies at the pool...next to the bar there is playground for the kids so parents can enjoy a nice drink while the kids get tired 🤗 and so on...there are just so much for kids and for their parents too. The food was again very high quality,every day different things, we were never bored with it! Staff super friendly and helpful. We have an electric car, charging wasn't a problem either. If you like massages,you need to book one! Being a therapist myself I m particularly picky( don't like this typical hotel massages with zero pressure) and these girls were nothing like that. Porec,the old town is 15-20 mins walk or 5 mins by the little train which leaves a minute from the hotel. Kids loved it :) I would go back to that hotel any time!

We had a splendid time at Marea Walamar Collection Suites. The rooms are clean and have modern aesthetic furniture. The hotel staff is super kind and helpful. The food was amazing, featuring local and international meals. Most of the restaurant staff is helpful, but they are a bit slow. There was an older waiter named “Manuel”, his attitude was always bad towards the guests. Never smiled at us, and almost never took the dirty plates away, on multiple occasions we had to ask him to clean the table. The bartender in the lobby bar is fast and professional, the cocktails were delicious. The beach on the other hand felt like a scam. For the same price as the lobby bar, they either didn’t use alcohol in the cocktails or used around one third of the normal amount. The quality of those drinks were not acceptable. The location is very good. From our suite to the sea it only takes a minute. Porec is also very close, reachable by foot. Overall we had a really good time, I’d recommend this hotel to my friends.
